Directional indicator

For the motorcyclists that are aware of safety, some home modifications can be made to the bikes. Place the directional indicator below in a central position of the bike, preferrably in eye level. Place a push button on the right and left side of the handle bar and connect the break to the middle button. For evening usage, the number plate lighting can light up the indicator.

Just like all other modern clubs and associations the Scandinavian Vincent Club maintains an elaborate policy for the environment. Here you will find two of our alternative constructions to minimise pollution and emissions, along with the modern times.

Some Emulgating Techniques

Most people know well the fact that combustion engines pollute our environment by emitting cancerogene substances and other unpleasantnesses, leading to climate changes. One method towards correction of these problems is the use of cathalysers.

Another method for avoiding the problem is the use of methanol, an alcoholic fluid which on combustion turns into water. Drawbacks are high consumption and the risk for corrosion inside the engine.

But now one of our cunning amateur engineers found another method. The engine runs on ordinary paper, preferably accounting material for fuel. This picture, showing the method in use, was taken at one of our meetings. The normally quite loquacious owner immediately clammed up completely when posed the question how on earth the paper fuel transfers from the tank through the carburettors through the cylinder heads and out through the silencer. As witnessed by the persons present, the engine started, sounded and behaved like an ordinary one. Some problems remain to be solved, such as collection of the confetti-like droppings shown in the picture. It has been proposed to use the residue for absorption of engine oil under Vincent motorcycles. This idea, though, was immediately rejected, since these motorcycles never drop oil.

The Ecological Converter (Ecco-Smell)

Human waste, and we mean human, has for some time been collected in septic tanks, to save the environment from unnecessary pollution. Perhaps it would be only natural to clean our vehicles in a manner equally ecologically tenable?

The idea of three chambers had to be abandoned on grounds of the Otto engine working on four cycles, which of course poses the need for four cleansing chambers.

The Ecco-Smell works like this:

Emissions are conducted through an elegant flexible pipe from the silencer to the first chamber of the converter, the particle trap.

The Particle Trap purifies the emissions from sundry spares and bits in the exhausts.

From this filter the exhausts are led to

the Active Carbon Filter, where ecologically cultivated Brussels sprouts further purifies the exhaust gases.

From there they go to

the Nitrogen Filter where a rhizome system collects the nitrogen from the exhaust gases in an ecological fashion.

Last but not least comes

the Chlorophyll Filter where carbon dioxide is transformed into oxygene by use of the ecologically correct photosynthesis process.

The exhausts, now cleaned and oxygenised, are now recirculated into the carburettors and the circle closes. We have now achieved an ecologically sustainable system where the only additive necessary is some water every now and then to keep the Chlorophyll Filter happy.

The pollution cleaner with its four chambers.

Particle Trap Please note what has been assembled from a 300-mile trip. Among other things a transmission chain and some steel wire.

Active Carbon Filter Purifies exhausts in the same way as it does our moonshine.

Chlorophyll Filter with foxglove to result in better pumping action. Also named digitalis for heart disease.

Nitrogen Filter contains carrots to convert exhaust nitrogen into wholesome nutrition.
